The datasets collated here were obtained from the Spatial Planning Division. The division is responsible for the preparation of the Development Order which is the legal document used to guide development in the area covered by the order. These data were collected through a method of observation. Collecting land use information for zoning involves several steps, starting with defining the information needed to develop the plan. The first step is to conduct a land use inventory. This inventory is detailed and represents existing conditions. The base information is mapped to provide an understanding of the current land patterns.
