Description: There are currently six known breeding populations of Oregon Spotted Frog in Canada. In addition, there are 10 historic populations. Three locations have been identified as “Recovery Habitats” as locations that are potentially suitable for the introduction or translocation of this species. Environmental DNA (eDNA) studies have also found three potential populations, which are under assessment and are currently considered potential Recovery Habitats.
