Description: <p>Tree canopy offers many beneficial services in urban areas, but is in decline due to associated hazards with urbanization. Many cities have set a percent canopy goal at 40%, however this does not consider how the canopy will be distributed. We want to understand where the urban canopy is already situated in Cuyahoga county in terms of land use, equity, and land cover and project uses of abundant land types such as vacant land. This data contains the landcover and tree cover for each parcel in Cuyahoga County as well as poverty statistics.</p>Data was aggregated from 2019 CENSUS block group acs data to the parcel level data on the Cuyahoga County Tree Canopy Viewer  (CCGIS &amp; CCPC 2017).
