Service Description: This feature layer contains apiary and colony count data, aggregated at the county-level, and the results of the disease and pest inspections, also aggregated at the county-level.Any person owning or possessing honey bees in Ohio registers the exact location of his apiaries and the number of colonies of bees in each apiary. This is done so that the state apiarist and county-level inspectors can examine apiaries in Ohio for serious bee diseases, including American foulbrood, Varroa mite, Tracheal mite, Small hive beetle, Nosema ceranae, Tropilaelaps spp., and European foulbrood.
