This map displays out of school suspension per 100 students data (2016-2017 school year) in schools located in eight largest metro areas in Ohio. Different colors denote different levels of discipline equity metric, calculated as the difference between the largest and the smallest suspension measure of different racial/ethnic groups in the school. The underlying map is the 2018-2019 USR Opportunity Index is a new data tool developed by the Ohio Housing Finance Agency and The Kirwan Institute for the Study of Race and Ethnicity to aid developers and advocates in the placement of low income housing.
