Description: This file contains annexation and detachment areas (polygons) for city and county line boundary changes filed with the California State Board of Equalization for the specified assessment roll year, per Government Code 54900.COFILE = county number followed by the BOE file number; CHANGE = the city being annexed or a change to unincorporated territory; EFFECTIVE = the date the change of boundary was effective locally; RECEIVED = date the statement of boundary change was received at the BOE; ACKNOWLEDGED = date the statement of boundary change was accepted by the BOE (a statement will not be accepted until fees are paid and a complete set of documents are submitted per GOV 54901); NOTES = any notes that may be beneficial to the record. A COFILE number ending in '000' is a boundary correction and the effective date used is the date the map was corrected.
