Service Description: Compiled from U.S. Census 2020 State Redistricting Data (Public Law 94-171) Summary File published August 12, 2021, “2020 Census of Population and Housing.” The New Orleans Regional Planning Commission (RPC) imported U.S. Census text files for Louisiana, joined to Census geography files (2020PL) and formatted with specific attributes generally used for RPC planning activities from the six content tables published: P1 (Race), P2 (Hispanic or Latino), P3 (Race for Population 18 Years and over), P4 (Hispanic or Latino by Race for the Population 18 Years and Over, P5 (Group Quarters population by Major Group Quarter Type), and H1 (Housing Unit Occupancy Status). Many more detailed attributes exist within the content tables published which could be joined to the geographic files.
