Description:

These data represent the WGFD-edited version of statistically-based polygons derived from GPS collar data collected from 415 antelope migrating in the Sublette antelope herd unit (PR401). There were nine different GPS collar studies that contributed to this data set which included collaring efforts from Grand Teton National Park all the way south to Interstate 80. The data were collected from 2002 through 2022. The GPS data were analyzed using Line Buffer (300 meter) for the high, medium and low use levels and Brownian Bridge Movement Model (BBMM) for stopovers, which produced polygons based on where animals traversed from winter range to summer range (and back) and how much time they spent along the way. The original data were edited to be more manageable on the ground as the WGFD works with land management agencies during land use planning.

NOTE: The same metadata content is used for the other FCs comprising the entire corridor dataset.
