Desired conditions, land use allocations, suitable management practices, objectives, standards, and monitoring and evaluation requirements are the statements of the Plan’s management direction for the next 10 to 15 years. The Plan is the implementing guide for fulfilling the mission of the Forest Service: “to sustain the health,diversity, and productivity of the nation’s forests and grasslands to meet the needs of present and future generations.”</font></p><p style="margin: 12pt 0in;"><span style="color: rgb(68, 68, 68); font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: small;">The ACP-EMS displays the Plan’s management prescription areas, which “reflect different desired conditions and suitable uses, or allowable activities”.
