Description: <p>Established in December 2015, Regional Networks are one of the three distinct travel markets from which VTrans identifies <a href="https://vtrans.org/mid-term-planning/mid-term-needs-and-priorities" target="_blank">Mid-Term Needs and Priority Locations</a>.  Regional Networks support intra-regional travel and bridge the gap between existing conditions and the desired future for the state's economy.  They are based on designated Metropolitan Planning Organizations (MPO) within the Commonwealth.
