Copyright Text: Created by GIS staff 2019-22 using the prior 2012-21 Board Divisions GIS layer, and adjusted based on 2020 US Census Block population data. Internal Division boundaries were adjusted to 1) City Boundaries where applicable and 2) Census Block boundaries where city could not be used. In one case in Fairfax, the boundary between Divisions 1 and 3, the boundary diverted from both the city and census block boundaries, and instead followed a ridgeline geography in order to keep a community intact. Starting in winter 2019, several boundary adjustments were also made to realign District boundaries with other administrative boundaries such as annexations, and corrections in MMWD's LAFCo service area. These changes were incorporated and adopted at the same time as the Redistricting changes from the census.
