Copyright Text: Inundation boundaries were developed by individual dam owners and submitted to the Office of Emergency Services for review and acceptance. The bulk of dam inundation maps were developed in the 1970's, and were submitted in paper form. In 2000, the Office of Emergency Services initiated digitization of the dam inundation map content, in order to make them useable in Geographic Information Systems.
