Physical road centerlines.
Source being Orthophotography (mainly 2006 but includes updates from 2007 and 2011). Please check attributes for capture date and accuracy.
AAM was engaged by BOPLASS Ltd to map structure rooflines over Rotorua District from
imagery captured for the BOPLASS AP1K and AP2K flown in 2016.
The source photography was acquired between 9 Jan 2016 and 22 November 2016. Urban
sites were mapped from the 12.5cm AP1K imagery, and surrounding areas were mapped
from the 25cm AP2K imagery.
Data
Building outlines are supplied as a single 2D shapefile.
Attributes include:
• RoofHeight – highest point on the main roof structure
• Date – year of source imagery
• Source – Photogram and image scale used
• Datum – vertical datum
This dataset was produced to meet the project spatial accuracy specification of +/- 0.25m in
the urban areas, and +/-0.5m in rural areas. This dataset is supplied on NZTM map projection
and Moturiki 1953 vertical datum.

Parcels downloaded from LINZ weekly, includes historic parcels and temporal information. Contains primary, secondary and tertiary parcels.
Polygons within this layer have a nominal accuracy of 0.1-1m in urban areas and 1-100m in rural areas. For more detailed information about parcel accuracies please refer to the Survey Boundary Marks layer which contains accuracies for each parcel node.
