Description: These ESRI shape files contain National Park Service tract and boundary data created by the Land Resources Division. The tract data is essentially all of the parcel boundaries associated within and adjoining the San Antonio Missions National Historical Park as legislated by congress. The boundary data is the current legislated park boundary. Tracts are created from deeds, plats and surveys of record then assigned a number by regional cartographic staff at the Land Resources Program Centers. This spatial data is used as the basis for NPS Land Status Maps.

Description: Landmarks are resources that have been officially recognized by the City of San Antonio for their outstanding historical, cultural, architectural, or archaeological significance. There are currently over 1,500 designated landmarks in the city. In the past, landmark designation identified Historic Exceptional (HE) and Historic Significant (HS) landmarks. 2010 amendments to the City's Unified Development Code (UDC) include the consolidation of the two landmark designations into one Historic Landmark (HL) designation. Those resources previously designated as historic landmarks prior to the UDC Amendments of June 24, 2010, will continue to bear the words "historic, exceptional" (HE) or "historic, significant" (HS) in their zoning designation.
Description: Karst Zones are delineated areas that inform the likelihood of rare or endangered species being present. Each Karst Zone is delineated within the boundaries of an established Karst Fauna Region, primarily based on lithology (i.e., general physical characteristics of rock types). The Zone definitions are as follows:Karst Zone 1. Areas known to contain endangered karst invertebrate species.Karst Zone 2. Areas having a high probability of suitable habitat for endangered or other endemic karst invertebrate species.Karst Zone 3a. Areas suitable for endangered karst invertebrate species but which have a low probability of containing endangered karst species because the habitat is occupied by other karst invertebrate species.Karst Zone 3b. Areas which have a low probability of containing endangered karst invertebrate species because they are poorly suited for karst invertebrate species.Karst Zone 4a. Areas suitable for karst invertebrate species but which do not contain endangered karst species because the habitat is occupied by other karst invertebrate species.Karst Zone 4b. Areas which do not contain karst invertebrate species.
