Service Description: This point layer integrates datasets from several different sources and agencies describing inshore, nearshore and shelf sediments of the coast of Georgia (USA). It contains data that are readily available through public domain, but also data that are restricted to agencies i.e. Corps of Engineers (COE) and Skidaway Institute of Oceanography (SkIO). The data describe sediment character, composition and texture and represent data collected over a time frame of more than 40 years.
