Scrap Metal Processors (SMP) receive, process, store, and recycle metal and metal-containing products (e.g., appliances). Many SMPs are co-located with Vehicle Dismantling Facilities, and some report their annual report data on the VDF form, which includes a section for scrap metal. This layer provides information about SMPs authorized by DEC.
