Description:

Assessments are intended to give users the ability to review NYS stream toxicity determinations as they relate to the most recent Porewater, Sediment, and Water Toxicity testing (RIBS SOP #403-16).Assessments were conducted by NYS Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC), Division of Water, Streams Monitoring and Assessment, Stream Toxicity Testing Unit. Samples were collected as part of the Rotating Integrated Basin Studies (RIBS) Program (RIBS QAPP 2017 pg.36-37). Toxicity evaluations are derived from Ceriodaphnia dubia 7-Day Chronic Screening Test for Toxicity of Ambient Water Samples or Effluents and Microtox® Acute Toxicity Test for Sediments, Porewaters and Effluents (RIBS SOP #403-16).
