This layer shows place names and places of interest at Rottnest Island. It is not exhaustive, and is designed for use on online maps to assist visitors to navigate the Island's attractions. It is not suitable as a primary source of information for navigation.

Most of the topographic place names (hills, rocks, bays, etc) come from Landgate's Geonoma database, but many were corrected for better geographic placement or localised naming. Other places, attractions, businesses etc were added by Rottnest Island Authority.
