Service Description: The GOMECC-4 (Gulf of Mexico and East Coast Carbon) research cruise collected Surface ocean chemistry observations are shown in this dataset. The cruise was a NOAA-led scientific expedition conducted aboard the R/V Ronald H. Brown from September 13 to October 21, 2021.
The research vessel departed from Key West, Florida, traveled around the Gulf of Mexico in a counter-clockwise direction, and ended in St. Petersburg, Florida. Data were collected at 141 sampling stations, spanning coastal to offshore waters across the Gulf.
