Transfer facilities receive and consolidate waste before it is transported to another facility for processing, treatment, further transfer, or disposal. The size and design of a transfer facility determines the regulatory requirements in 6 NYCRR 362-3 that must be met. This layer provides information about transfer facilities permitted by DEC.
